Ardea selects families applying for scholarships based on the following criteria

1) Ardea’s Scholarship Budget

  • The availability of funding to support families is a primary consideration.
  • This budget depends on both donations received and returns generated from invested capital.
  • Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis. At the end of each school year, the support provided is reassessed in light of available financial resources.
  • Ardea continuously seeks funding to sustain existing scholarships, ensuring that beneficiary students are not required to change schools due to insufficient financial support, while also enabling the creation of new scholarships.

2) The Applicant Family’s Financial Situation (Quantitative Analysis)

  • A detailed assessment is conducted based on the family’s total income and expenses, as well as the school’s tuition fees, as documented in the scholarship application file.
  • Ardea intervenes only once all external sources of funding have been exhausted and it is evident that, without its support, the family would be compelled, for financial reasons, to withdraw from Agnès School.

3) Alignment with the Educational Project of Agnès School (Qualitative Analysis)

  • Consideration is given to factors such as the student’s commitment to their studies and the family’s involvement in both the child’s education and the broader school community.

4) Internal Consultation

  • The “Scholarships” team reviews each application following both the quantitative and qualitative analyses.

5) Final Review and Approval

  • The conclusions are presented to, and validated by, the Foundation’s governing body.
